Rain hits Pakistan's tour match
Tour match, Auckland, day two of three (stumps)
Auckland 164-5; Pakistan 318

Pakistan's preparations for the first Test in New Zealand have been disrupted by rain in their only warm-up match.

Auckland, replying to Pakistan's first innings 318, moved from their overnight score of 35-1 to 164-5 with play restricted to less than two sessions.

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Sami had figures of 0-51 in 14 overs, including 11 no balls.

Shabbir Ahmed took 2-24 off 14 overs, including New Zealand Test opener Mark Richardson for 23.

There was no indication whether Auckland captain Brooke Walker would declare overnight to allow Pakistan more batting time on the final day.
