Adi Birrell's Irish team have won their last seven matches |
Adrian McCoubrey and Dominick Joyce have been called into the Irish squad for the three Intercontinental Trophy games against Denmark.
The duo replaces Peter Gillespie and Paul Mooney who were forced to pull out of the squad through injury.
The first match takes place at Clontarf on Friday with the second game scheduled for Malahide a day later.
Should a third match be required, it will take place on Monday at Malahide.
All matches will have a 1100 BST start.
Ireland will go into Friday's contest looking for their eighth successive victory.
The Irish posted a 387 total in last weekend's C&G Trophy qualifying round win over Hertfordshire which guaranteed Adrian Birrell's side a game against a first class English country next year.
