Andrew White took four wickets and hit a rapid-fire 41 runs |
Ireland cruised to their second successive seven-wicket victory on their short English tour in dispatching MCC at Lord's on Tuesday.
The Irish bowled out MCC for 212 before knocking off the runs for three wickets with 10 overs to spare.
North Down's all-rounder Andrew White was the star in taking four for 28 in just under six overs and contributed a quick-fire 41 not out.
Top scorer, though, was Australian Jeremy Bray who fell just six runs short of a deserved century, while Andre Botha made 55.
Paul Mooney chipped in with two for 26 while Kyle McCallan picked up two wickets for 36 as the MCC's batting order failed to set a steady run rate.
