Adi Birrell's Irish team have won their last seven matches |
Ireland cleaned up the Hertfordshire tail at Bishop's Stortford on Friday morning to secure a 75-run success in the C&G preliminary round game.
The victory was Ireland's seventh successive win.
The English side resumed on 283 for seven but a Paul Mooney brace and a wicket from Carrickfergus bowler Ryan Eagleson left them 312 all-out - 75 runs short of Ireland's massive total.
Ireland's victory was build on centuries from Andre Botha (139) and Gerard Dros (124) while Jason Mollins also contributed a crucial 84 runs.
The win guarantees the Irish a home tie against an English county in next year's C&G Trophy first round.
