Jersey's six-man crew put in a strong performance to finish third in the Yukon River Quest in Canada. Ian Blandin, Rob Cassin, Carl Clinton, Simon Young, John Searson and John Bouteloup completed the 460-mile challenge in 46 hours and 36 minutes. The winners, Texans, crossed the line four hours ahead of their rivals. Cassin told BBC Jersey: "To finish third in such a high-class field, we're well pleased, and the race was everything we'd ever dreamed."
