Jennings is a former British welterweight champion

The fight between Michael Jennings and John O'Donnell for the vacant British welterweight title is off after O'Donnell withdrew with a rib injury.

The 3 July show at the Preston Guildhall has been cancelled and promoter Frank Warren aims to reschedule it for a later date.

It is the third time former British champion Jennings, 32, has had an opponent cancel on him in 2010.

Sheffield's Kell Brook twice pulled out of match-ups earlier this year.
