Darren Corbett has been inactive in recent years

Belfast's Darren Corbett is set to make his return to the ring after an absence of almost five years on the undercard for Bernard Dunne's next fight.

The former Commonwealth Cruiserweight title holder was due to fight in April 2005 but had to pull out due to flu.

Dunne will fight Argentina's Damian Marchiano over 10 rounds at the National Stadium, Dublin, on 12 July.

"This fight will give us an indication of Bernard's progress on the world stage," said promoter Brian Peters.
