Darren Corbett has been inactive in recent years |
Darren Corbett's hopes of making a return to the ring at the Ulster Hall later this month have been dashed. Corbett was scheduled to have his first fight in almost a year against Armenian Varuzhan Davtyan on 23 April but he has had to pull out because of 'flu.
Various injuries have contributed to Corbett's lack of bouts in recent years but he hopes that he yet could make an impact at world level.
Corbett previously held the Commonwealth Cruiserweight title.
The Ulster Hall bill will now be headed by Colin Moffat's Northern Ireland bantamweight title contest against Stevie Quinn.
