Williams wants Tyson again

British heavyweight Danny Williams has knocked Mike Tyson's 11 June comeback attempt against Irishman Kevin McBride.

Williams, who beat the American last July, had a rematch offer shunned and believes Tyson has hand-picked an opponent who can make him look good.

"Tyson will win comfortably against McBride," Williams told BBC Sport.

"If he is in good shape he can look excellent and that is the sole purpose of the fight. McBride is very slow and won't be able to dodge punches."

Williams still wants to confirm his superiority over Tyson in another fight, providing he beats Matt Skelton in their 16 July British title dust-up.

"After beating Skelton, I want to fight Tyson again," he said.

"People didn't give me the respect I deserved for beating him the first time and his camp talked about his knee injury.

"I want to show everyone it was for real."

The Brixton boxer had a "frustrating" tune-up against Hungarian Zoltan Petranyi on the undercard of Ricky Hatton's famous win in Manchester.

Easy win for Williams on return

"The tune-up was frustrating - he didn't want to fight and was just interested in not getting hurt," Williams said.

"But I did rub some of the much-needed rust off. And it was good to fight in front of all of those fans.

"It was an amazing night and Ricky is the guv'nor."

And, after just three days off, Williams heads back into training for the Skelton fight later on Wednesday.

"I go back to training today and then it's lots of sparring, road work and getting myself in mental shape.

"I had three days off after the Zoltan fight, but now it's serious again.
