Tyson confirms return to action
Mike Tyson
Tyson's last fight resulted in defeat to Britain's Danny Williams
Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has said he will return to the ring this summer.

The 38-year-old has been out of action since suffering a shock knockout loss to Britain's Danny Williams last July.

"I'm getting back into a ring. It'll be in Washington, probably 20 June," Tyson said during an interview in Italy.

But the American, who has been suffering from a knee problem, has not yet named an opponent for his latest comeback fight.

During the interview, Tyson also claimed that a lie put him in prison, where he served three-and-a-half years for rape at the beginning of the 1990s.

"I'm no angel," he admitted. "But I'm not just a boxer. I'm also a father, an uncle, a painter."

Tyson was the youngest ever world heavyweight champion in 1986.
