Harrison to issue challenge
Harrison has held the WBO featherweight belt twice
Harrison has his sixth world title bout in October
Scott Harrison will fly to Las Vegas in November to thrown down the gauntlet to the winner of the third fight between Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales.

The Scot defends his WBO featherweight title against Ethiopia's Samuel Kedebe in October but is planning ahead.

Manager Frank Maloney said: "Scott will be going over to Las Vegas for a ringside challenge to whoever wins.

If we could get that fight it would take preference over any other we're trying for just now."

Maloney said if a deal could be brokered then the fight would take place early in the New Year.

"I would take Scott anywhere to fight, I have no fears about that," he added.

Maloney admits, however, that he is still in negotiations with WBC featherweight title holder Injin Chi in case Harrison's trip to America is in vain.

He said: "I'm talking to Injin Chi's people at the moment and it looks like he wants to fight again in South Korea after winning his last fight there.

"There's no money in that fight for us but I would like him to fight Chi though because if Scott had two belts then that would give us more bargaining power."

Harrison has to get Kebede out of the way first and Maloney insists his fighter has not opted to take any easy pay day.

He said: "Kebede has a 24-0 record and so he's got to have some ability.

"Scott has mental strength and he asked to get Kebede because he had the best record of the five opponents he could have chosen."
