 Woodward set his British U23 record over the hurdles in June |
Warwickshire 400m hurdlers Nathan Woodward and Meghan Beesley won medals at the European Under-23 Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Woodward claimed silver behind UK team-mate Jack Green. The Coleshill athlete's time of 49.28 seconds was outside his British record for the age group. Beesley won a bronze in the women's event in a personal best time of 55.69 seconds to help the UK finish second behind Russia in the medal table.
