Both on and off the court, Federer is one of the most easy-going and popular players on the tour. And the 21-year-old is now getting the results to match. He has reached finals in Milan, Miami and Hamburg and won the International Series event in Sydney in 2002 - his first tournament of the season. He has yet to reach the peak of his ability but early promise suggests that the Swiss star could be a future world number one. After early struggles on the clay, he appears to be hitting peak form at the right time. |
