One of my favourite stadiums, not least because I've seen AC/DC and Cold Chisel here.

They really ripped it up, much like a few of my chums when they held an impromptu swimming showdown at the Olympic-sized indoor heated pool.

The stadium hosts a mean sporting event for the so-called experts, too. The footie boys had a good go during the 2000 Olympics.

Twinned with the mighty Sydney Cricket Ground next door, this place is smaller than some other city stadiums, and makes you feel like you're part of the action.
