Ballymore disciples aren't happy, but Suncorp got the nod because it can fit more bums on seats than Queensland's rightful home of rugby.

Personally, I preferred it when it was called Lang Park, even if it has enjoyed a much-needed facelift since then.

Back in the good old days, a younger Davo used to skip to State of Origin games singing, "We're off to Lang Park to see Alfie Langer".

"We're off to Suncorp stadium, to see Stirling Mortlock" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
