Jon Wilkin - our new player columnist
Wilkin was a stand-out performer in the Challenge Cup final win over Huddersfield last season.
His display was all the more impressive given his nose was broken midway through the first half after a collision with team-mate Paul Anderson, who thought he was an opposing player.
The Saints medical team eventually came up with this novel way of stemming the flow of blood.
And it allowed Wilkin, who just missed out on the Lance Todd Trophy to Sean Long, to score two tries in the 46-12 win over the Giants at Twickenham.
