Born and bred in Hull, Jon Wilkin moved to St Helens from Hull Kingston Rovers at the end of 2002 and wasted little time in cementing his reputation as one of the country's brightest propsects.

Still only 23, he is now a first-team regular and was a key member of the side that won every domestic honour in 2006.

He plays in the back row and will wear the No 12 shirt in 2007 as Saints look to defend their Super League and Challenge Cup titles.
