Paul Hunter tribute in pictures
In 2005, Hunter was diagnosed with dozens of neuro endocrine tumours on the lining of his stomach just after competing in the Masters.

It stunned the snooker world, but the Leeds player promised to continue playing while he underwent chemotherapy.

He decided to compete at the World Championship, where he got a Crucible ovation, and gave friend Michael Holt a run for his money before losing 10-8.

His spirits were given a huge boost with the birth of daughter Evie Rose on Boxing Day.
