A round-up of predictions from our panel for The Derby at Epsom on Saturday.
With the final prediction in, Motivator just tops the poll from The Geezer, ahead of Oratorio and Kong.

1 Motivator 2 The Geezer 3 Gypsy King
I think the Dante holds the best form and as it did last year, will provide the first two home.
Motivator has been trained specifically for Epsom, has never looked under pressure in his races and is an outstanding individual.
The Geezer seems to be improving with every race and can go very close, while Gypsy King is the type to run on into a place.

1 Motivator 2 The Geezer 3 Dubawi
I'm going for Motivator, a high-class horse who I think will cope with the ground and trip.
The Geezer is definitely another to watch out for - at 10-1 he represents good value - but I'm not sure he's got as much class as Motivator.
And of course as Frankie's agent I'll have to give him a mention! Dubawi has a good chance, but it all depends on the ground - so long as it's safe, the horse should do well.

1 Oratorio 2 Dubawi 3 Fracas
Placed in both the English and Irish Guineas, Oratorio has shown class and an ability to battle, two qualities needed to win the Derby.
What remains unproven is his stamina for a mile-and a-half, but his performances so far suggest he's more likely to stay than most.

1 Kong 2 Fracas 3 Gypsy King
In a competitive year, there are question marks about the market leaders.
Kong will stay, act on the track and has no marked going preference, he offers great value.
Fracas has won his trials narrowly - it is impossible to know how good he could be, and Gypsy King is talented but a slow learner - he could well be the most talented but may need more time to show it.

1 Motivator 2 The Geezer 3 Hattan
Motivator looks like a hugely talented horse, and everything has gone to plan including jockey Johnny Murtagh winning his appeal against a riding ban.
I think he can narrowly confirm the Dante form with runner-up The Geezer. Hattan looks a bit of value in an open race.

1 Oratorio 2 Fracas 3 Kong
With the ground firming up, it's hard to see Dubawi running as well as he did in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.
I like the horse he beat at the Curragh, Oratorio, even though Kieren Fallon has passed him over for Gypsy King.
Fracas, the winner of the Betfred Classic Trial at Sandown, should run a big race at a decent price.

1 Kong 2 Walk In The Park 3 Fracas
Kong won recently despite disadvantages and the ground should suit his bid for glory.

1 The Geezer 2 Motivator 3 Oratorio
The first two home in the Dante can confirm that race's standing as a great Derby trial by repeating the trick, but with the places reversed.
The Geezer did little wrong in defeat at York that day, yet is four times the price of Motivator, and looks value.

1 The Geezer 2 Motivator 3 Unfurled
I'll go with a first Derby success for trainer David Elsworth and jockey Richard Quinn with The Geezer, just beating the class horse Motivator, while Unfurled looks the each-way value.
