Experts from the BBC racing team pick horses to follow over the jumps during the 2004-05 season. Azertyuiop (Paul Nicholls)
Going to take all the beating this season. Very impressive at Exeter, winning the William Hill Haldon Gold Cup with Ruby Walsh on board.
Baracouda (Francois Doumen)
A top-class horse for the past three to four years - if he hits form he could be one of the stars of the year. One to back in the spring hurdles.
Fundamentalist (NA Twiston-Davies)
Carl Llewellyn rode him to a comprehensive win at Perth in September - didn't look in any trouble. A good prospect for the Sun Alliance.
Sir Rembrandt (Robert Alner)
Possibly unlucky in last season's Cheltenham Gold Cup - made a solid start to the season at Wetherby and will take some beating.
Mark The Man (Noel Meade)
I watched this one at Naas the other day - jumps exceptionally well and has a lot of class. A novice hurdler to watch out for.
War Of Attrition (MF Morris)
Won at Thurles in first race over hurdles - looks to be a top novice chaser over two to three miles.
