Bradley Wiggins has a track pedigree that few can question.
But his ability to convert that prowess to the road has been more debatable - his first few years on the circuit were so-so.
But the 27-year-old has been in top form this year. Two more track golds in March were followed by prologue wins in Dunkirk and at the Dauphine Libere.
The Londoner, who learned to ride in Hyde Park, has called this year's prologue as his "cup final" - he was 16th in 2006, a win on Saturday would surprise nobody.
