Tyson Jackson, defensive end

The Kansas City Chiefs surprised everyone, even the player himself, by selecting Tyson Jackson as the third overall pick of the draft.

"I really don't know where it came from, but I came into the draft at the right time in the right situation. I'm the only defensive end who plays like I do," said the 6'5, 296-pound graduate of Louisiana State University.

Whilst many of the top draft prospects attended the event in the Radio City Music Hall, Jackson decided to stay away from the drama and was thrilled to be picked by the Chiefs.

"I am a country boy. I grew up in a small town near New Orleans. I couldn't be in the New York Radio City type atmosphere. I am so proud that Kansas City selected me," he said.
