Jason Smith, offensive tackle

Seen as one of the most players in this year's draft most likely to make an instant impact, the St Louis Rams picked Smith with the second pick of the draft.

Smith was nicknamed 'Smooth' whilst playing college football for Baylor due to the transition he made from playing as an average tight-end to an outstanding offensive tackle.

Standing at 6'5 and weighing in at a mighty 298 pounds (21 stone 4), he should provide the Rams quarterback Marc Bulger with some much needed protection.

The only slight worry for Rams fans may be that Smith has admitted to struggling to get motivated for big games. Instead, he cites going to rodeos as his favourite hobby.
