One eye on 2012 While medals in Beijing are a priority, British taekwondo is also looking ahead to London 2012. Like their senior team-mates, the eight junior Academy members are all full-time. They live in digs near Manchester City's Eastlands stadium, and go to school locally. The signs so far are good, with the team returning from the European Junior Championships in Azerbaijan with a haul of six medals, including golds for Cook, Ayet Labidi and Scott Atkinson. The male team ranked top, and GB's overall European junior ranking has gone up to second - a rise of 14 places in just two years.
