GB's golden girl? The star of the GB team is Sarah Stevenson. Already a veteran of two Olympic Games, the 24-year-old will make it three in Beijing in 2008 after finishing second in the qualification tournament in Manchester last September - despite fighting with a broken hand. Stevenson was the youngest member of Team GB in Sydney in 2000, when she finished fourth at the age of 17. The former world champion admits she let herself down in Athens in 2004, and she will be out to make amends. The BBC is not responsible for the content of external internet sites |
