Under pressure With a maximum of four Olympic places for British fighters up for grabs, the competition has been intense inside the Academy. Tony Grisman (far left), Louise Mair and Aaron Cook were selected to represent GB in the Manchester qualifying tournament, but failed to get the top-three placings they needed. Cook made no mistake, however, at the European qualifying tournament in Istanbul, taking bronze to book a Beijing place in the men's -80kg category. Tyrone Robinson's silver clinched a place in the -58kg category, but Mair missed out, losing by just one point in her bronze medal match.
