GB's number two was brought up on the streets of south London to become one of Britain's hottest prospects.

He learned his tricks in an old shed, and won all but one of the age group competitions at the 2001 Greater London Championship at the age of 11.

He lives and trains full-time at the national academy in Sheffield and plays in Montpelier, France.

Chinese coach Li Jai Yi is guiding Knight, and Drinkhall, towards setting the table tennis world alight. London awaits.
