Admittedly this is a slightly tenuous one, but Chelsea fans may well want to keep an eye on the performances of Serbia centre-back Slobodan Rajkovic.

The 19-year-old is one of the most highly rated young defenders in Europe, with the Blues shelling out a reported �3.5m for him as a 16-year-old.

After spending last season out on loan with PSV Eindhoven, Rajkovic will have another year in Dutch football, this time under the tutelage of former England coach Steve McClaren at FC Twente.
