Ben has the shortest rider-horse relationship of all the Olympic horses. He has only been riding Rolette for 10 months.

Ben says Rolette is "easy going and willing, as long as she's happy, but she can be temperamental" - and if she's in a bad mood, she kicks the lorry.

Rolette is very polite, adds Ben - "she asks for an apple by simply pointing her nose at it", he says. "She qualified me for the Olympics and I am hoping to continue the good work when we get to Hong Kong."
