Tim and Fresh Direct Corlato, or Ruby, have been together for seven years.

Tim says: "What makes Ruby special is that she always rises to the occasion." He adds that Ruby is incredibly careful, never wanting to touch a fence - but like many mares, she can also be stubborn.

Tim tells us she frequently refuses to load onto the lorry. Once, when travelling to America, she refused to go into the air crate and onto the plane. In the end they had to dismantle the crate and rebuild it around her.
