John has ridden Peppermill for three years. Their best GB result was bronze at the European Championships in 2007, which helped the team to qualify for the Olympics.

Peppermill's consistency is why John is tipped as Britain's best individual show jumping medal hope in Hong Kong.

John believes "nothing is too big" for Peppermill to jump. He is a hungry horse and eats everything he's given - John's team will give him extra electrolytes in his feed during the competition.
