Which athletes will shine in 2008?
Nicola Sanders and Christine Ohuruogo
One-lap Queens
Christine Ohuruogu (right) has huge talent, and her Osaka World Championships victory in the 400m showed she's got what it takes.

It will be tough with Sanya Richards and maybe Allyson Felix around, but she will be better and will be right in the mix.

Nicola Sanders has big potential. Her silver in Osaka means there will be less focus on her as long as she stays clear of injury.

The signs are also good for GB's 800m women. Any one of Marilyn Okoro, Jemma Simpson, Becky Lynne and Jenny Meadows could end 2008 with an Olympic medal.
