Nobody hits it further than Daly. He consistently hits it more than 300 yards off the tee.
He has a massive overswing as you'll see if you look at the image above, but he manages to control it.
The great golfer Jack Nicklaus tells youngsters the first thing to learn is how to hit the ball hard.
Then they can learn how to control it. Daly certainly took that approach!
Despite the huge whack he gives the ball, he always looks perfectly balanced.
SET-UP
At this point Daly is set up like any other top golfer. There's nothing unusual here.
He's got something like a 3-iron - which he'll probably fire about 230 yards.
He's a big guy but looks light on his feet.

He'll also be gripping the club very lightly, holding it more with his fingers than clasped in the palm.
It's only once he starts turning we get a hint of what's too come.
His shoulder turn is massive as he takes his club back in a huge arc.
AT THE TOP
Look how far back his club head has travelled.
Daly has a massive overswing which you would never teach anyone to do. But he somehow manages to control it.
You'll see that instead of pointing to the target along a line parallel to the ground, Daly's club is pointing straight down into it!
How he gets it back from here is a mystery. But he does.
The overswing means his left knee bend is exaggerated.
FOLLOW THROUGH
Daly recovers to get the club back in pretty much a classic position at impact.
He has thrust his left hip out of the way and is in a great position to hit the ball.
It is noticeable as he follows through how balanced he is.
