Trevor Immelman clinched his maiden major title with a wire-to-wire victory at last year's Masters. Immelman became only the second South African, after his mentor Gary Player, to win at Augusta after shooting 68, 68, 69, 75 to beat Tiger Woods by three shots. Since then Immelman's results have been largely indifferent, with a best finish of 19th on the PGA Tour this year. Only three players have won back-to-back Masters titles - Jack Nicklaus in 1966, Nick Faldo in 1990 and Woods in 2002 - and on current form Immelman seems unlikely to add to that illustrious list.
