Sergio Garcia is another player who has threatened to topple Tiger Woods's supremacy at the top of the rankings. The Spaniard, 29, climbed to second in the world in November before slipping back to third last month, but despite 14 top-10 finishes he is still yet to win a major. Garcia was edged into second by his nemesis Padraig Harrington in the USPGA last August, while he also lost to the Irishman in a play-off for the 2007 Open at Carnoustie. Garcia's Masters record is mixed, though, with a fourth missed cut last year, alongside fourth place in 2004 and eighth in 2002.
