Picking the Open champion - consistency
Clockwise from top left: Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Sergio Garcia, Jim Furyk, Jesper Parnevik, Davis Love, Thomas Bjorn
OK, so who's been most consistent in the past 10 Opens then?
Well, Woods, obviously, with three wins (2006, 2005, 2000) and four other top 10s.

Next is Ernie Els, who won at Muirfield in 2002 and has two seconds and two thirds. Els' progress has been checked by injury but fellow South African Retief Goosen could be one to watch. The double US Open winner has had six top 10s since 1997.

Sergio Garcia and Davis Love have had five top 10s, with Thomas Bjorn, Jesper Parnevik and Jim Furyk on four. But Parnevik didn't qualify, Love is off form and Furyk missed five cuts from 2001-2005.
