Americans Juli Inkster and Rosie Jones shared the lead at the Evian Masters after the third round on Friday. Inkster fired a course-record 64, while Jones had a 67 to head the field on a 14-under-par 202.
South Korea's Hee Won Han was two shots further back and three in front of the best European, Sweden's Sophie Gustafson.
Janice Moodie was tied for sixth place to be the best-placed Britsh golfer.

She fired a three-under 69 and is still in contention for the �220,000 prize. Gustafson appeared to be dropping out of contention, but the big-hitting winner of last month's Irish Open finished with a brace of birdies in a round of 67.
Sweden's world number one Annika Sorenstam had her best round, a 67, but was still 10 off the lead on four under.
Britain's two-time winner Laura Davies took a double-bogey seven at the last for the second time in the tournament and carded a 76 for six-over 222.
