Daniel edges out Inkster
Beth Daniel kisses the trophy
Beth Daniel birdied the final two holes for a one-stroke victory in the Canadian Women's Open at the at Point Grey Golf and Country Club.

In rainy conditions, Daniel hit a four-under-par 68 to edge out Juli Inkster - with whom she shared the overnight lead - by the narrowest of margins.

The 46-year-old finished at 13-under for her 34th career title and first win since 1995.

Daniel made a three-foot birdie putt at the 17th to drawl level with Inkster at 12 under.

On the final hole, Daniel knocked her wedge shot to within seven feet of the flag and when Inkster left her 12-foot birdie putt short, Daniel holed the putt to seal victory.

Earlier, Kim Saiki birdied four of her first five holes to move into a tie for the lead, but bogeyed the 11th and eventually shared third place with Grace Park at nine under.

Se Ri Pak's round of 69 gave her fifth place.
