Crewe boss Dario Gradi expects bids for Calvin Zola
Zola has not scored since the FA Cup tie at York on 7 November
Crewe caretaker manager Dario Gradi believes top scorer Calvin Zola will be the subject of interest from other clubs in the January transfer window.
Peterborough have been linked with Zola, 24, who has 13 goals this season.
"Calvin has no great record of scoring goals, but he's scoring them this season," Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke.
"He's been running towards their goal, more than facing towards ours. If people want that type of player, I think he's a decent bet."
Zola cost Crewe £200,000 from Tranmere in July 2008, but scored just six times in his first season at the Alexandra Stadium as the team were relegated to the bottom tier of the Football League.
But this season the Congolese striker is among the top scorers in League Two.
"Everyone is looking for that type of player, even England are, they've got Peter Crouch and Emile Heskey," he said.
