There are also major problems in midfield where we lack an old-fashioned number 10 who will get his foot on the ball in the middle of the park, control it and thread passes through.

Our midfield works hard and shields the centre backs, but our tactics are the same in every game, to concede possession then make the opposition work hard.

When we have possession we do not create opportunities in free play, although it should be said that Simon Davies has been badly missed.

I'm so disappointed for everyone, the fantastic supporters, the fact that Welsh football has lost at least �3.5m by failing to qualify.
