The great Luis Figo became a global superstar during his time with Barcelona - before stunning the football world by moving to Real Madrid in 2000.

The Portuguese flier with a rocket for a shot moved for a then-world record 37.5m. Barca supporters, who had idolised him for five years, felt a deep sense of betrayal while the club mourned his departure.

When Figo returned with Real to the Camp Nou in November 2002, some Barca fans threw whiskey bottles and even a pig's head at their former hero as he took a corner.

In five successful years in Madrid, Figo cemented his place as a legend of the game.
