The 1960s Ballon d'Or winners
Clockwise from top left: Josef Masopust; Eusebio; Florian Albert; Gianni Rivera; Lev Yashin

The sixties saw 10 different winners, including some all-time greats.

Czech midfielder Josef Masopust (1962), top left, won after leading his side to the World Cup final, while USSR's Lev Yashin (1963), bottom left, remains the only keeper to have his name on the trophy.

Hungary striker Florian Albert's elegant play earned him the award in 1967 (top right), and the magical playmaking skills of Italy's Gianni Rivera (bottom right) deservedly triumphed in 1969.

And Portugal striker Eusebio's consistency saw him win in 1965 and come second in 1962 and 1966.
