Isa Guha and Charlotte Edwards were on top of their game as England beat New Zealand by 38 runs to claim their third win of the one-day series.
And the result, with just one game remaining, means Clare Connor's girls have claimed victory in the series.
Edwards hit 70 off 108 balls in England's total of 197-7, to which New Zealand replied with 159-9, Haidee Tiffen top-scoring with 48.
Medium-pacer Isa Guha claimed a career-best haul of 5-22 in her 10 overs.
The Kiwis' captain Maia Lewis won the toss and inserted England, but opener Edwards accepted the invitation, putting on 44 for the first wicket with Laura Newton and 86 for the third wicket with skipper Connor, who made 56 not out.
The middle order did not contribute as well as they might have, but England still had a total they could defend.
Jenny Gunn gave the hosts the perfect start with the early wicket of Paula Flannery and wickets kept on falling as Guha found the ideal length and line.
The big wicket came when Connor had Rebecca Rolls caught by Lucy Pearson for 10 and though Tiffen played well, from a score of 48-4 there was only going to be one winner.
