England captain Michael Vaughan was pleased with the consistency of his team as they wrapped up a 3-0 series triumph against West Indies. "We always managed to get a good first innings total and our bowlers put them under pressure," Vaughan said.
"There were times we weren't at our best but everyone contributed."
Vaughan was also delighted with Steve Harmison, who took two late wickets. "I could see he was enjoying it and getting his rhythm back," he said.
Harmison has been heavily criticised for his wayward bowling in recent times, but showed signs of his best form in a fiery spell as England polished off West Indies in the afternoon session to leave a target of only 110.
Monty Panesar recorded his sixth five-wicket Test haul and Vaughan enthused: "He bowled beautifully.
"It wasn't spinning too much but the ball that got [Denesh] Ramdin was the perfect slow left-armer's dismissal and will be replayed many times.
"He gives us great attacking options but also control."

Vaughan diplomatically played down suggestions that the victory was achieved against one of the worst West Indies teams to tour England.
"You can only beat what is put in front of you," he insisted. "I honestly believe they have a lot of potential and could be a good team."
He preferred to keep the focus on his team and added: "I think 3-0 is just reward for the cricket we've played.
"Credit to the groundstaff for getting us out there after the weather we've had. We've played enough cricket at the right intensity to force a result and that's the kind of mentality you need to win games."
