Geraint Jones, who is competing with Chris Read for the wicket-keeper's role, believes the tourists can draw a huge psychological boost from their stunning success a year ago.
Jones took the catch to seal a momentous win at Edgbaston, which sparked England's revival, and he insists his team believe a repeat triumph is on the cards.
"Winning becomes a bit of a habit. That was what led us into the last Ashes," the gloveman explained.
"Although it hasn't gone that well since, there's still that strong feeling that we know how to win and that's still there."
