Sourav Ganguly was at the centre of joyous dressing room celebrations after India wrapped up a 2-1 Test series win over Pakistan. They will return home from Rawalpindi as heroes as the first Indian team to win a Test series in Pakistan.
Ganguly said: "We're very happy. We've played well over the last two years and it's good to finally win (away).
"We came close in Australia, in England. But the whole of India is happy when we win against Pakistan."
Ganguly had extra reason to celebrate as he surpassed Mohammad Azharuddin as India's most successful captain, moving to 15 victories from 38 Tests in charge.

Rahul Dravid was crowned Man of the Match for his 270 in the first innings. "It's very special. This one of the best days of my career," Dravid said.
"I'm just so happy for the guys. We've been through so much together and to achieve this makes it fantastic to be part of this side."
Dravid's highest Test score was the cornerstone of India's victory, but he deflected praise to the team's attack which bowled Pakistan out for 224 in the first innings.
"The bowlers had done a great job for us on the first day," he said.
"To get them out for 220, we knew that we had to bat once and bat big and it was a question of me occupying the crease.
"It helped having a few good partnerships along the way. I just tried to keep one end going so we could make a big score." Dravid, who is now now second behind Brian Lara in the Test batting rankings, hailed the first series between the two teams in Pakistan for 15 years a huge success.
"It's been a great series. I think people in both countries have really enjoyed it," he argued.
"Pakistan have played some very good cricket and it was a real pleasure to be here and I hope the guys back home reciprocate when Palkistan come over."
It is hoped Pakistan will tour India for a Test and one-day series at some stage next year.
