England women got their South Africa tour off to a great start with a 115-run victory over Northerns.
Laura Newton top-scored with the bat, notching up 84, as England made 238-7 in their 50 overs.
Lydia Greenway was run out three runs shy of a half-century and captain Clare Connor chipped in with 41.
Northerns were bowled out for 123, Lucy Pearson claiming the openers and spinner Rosalie Birch ending with figures of 2-11 off 6.3 overs.
England beat South Africa on home soil last summer and hope to repeat it in five one-day internationals.
England have another warm-up match on Thursday, against Western Province-Boland, and play their first one-day international on 15 February in Port Elizabeth.
