New Zealand have recalled all-rounder Andre Adams for the fourth one-day international against Pakistan on Wednesday. Adams was dropped from the Black Caps team after playing in the series opener.
But coach John Bracewell said the medium pacer was better suited to Napier's smallish outfield than fast bowler Ian Butler.
New Zealand lead the series 2-1 after a seven-wicket win on Saturday.
In 29 one-day internationals, Adams has taken 43 wickets at an average of 27.16.
