Bangladesh claimed their second win in three matches on their tour of Australia with victory over the Northern Territory Chief Minister's XI in Darwin.

The tourists began the fourth and final day on 90 for four and reached their target of 187 just after lunch.

A late batting collapse almost cost Bangladesh dear but tailenders Khaled Mahmud (12 not out) and Mashrafe Mortaza (4 not out) eventually saw them home.

Opener Javed Omar earlier made 44 and Al Sahariar Rokon put on 41.

"I attribute the victory to our second-innings bowling," said Bangladesh coach Dav Whatmore.

"We had a deficit of 50 runs and real desire.

"To get the opposition out again for that total was very, very exemplary, very pleasing - the effort was fantastic.

"I think there's clear evidence in this innings that we weren't (giving) our wickets to them. That's the way we have got to go.
