That pass looks forward to me but Italy are playing with so much confidence and they cut Ireland to pieces there.

  3. No try - Ireland 10-10 Italypublished at 15:31 GMT

It's a real shame that's ruled out. It was superb from Italy as they cut Ireland open.

The pass was forward though, so it won't stand.

The crowd thinks it is forward. It's tight, but it does look it.

The officials are having a good look though.

    Louis Lynagh

    Sublime.

It's lovely from Italy and Tommaso Menoncello makes a break.

He races clear and flings it wide to Louis Lynagh, who races over.

But, was the pass forward? We're going to the TMO.

    Ireland 10-10 Italy

Tadhg Furlong does well to win the ball back and he gets a big hit for his troubles.

Ireland clear so Italy have it back, albeit now on halfway.

    Ireland 10-10 Italy

Italy are throwing everything at this but they can't breach the Irish 22.

They're playing all the rugby at the moment.

    Ireland 10-10 Italy

Italy are almost in again with some superb hands out wide.

It comes to Pani on the left wing and it takes Jamie Osborne and Rob Baloucoune to drive him into touch.

Ireland win the throw and Casey's clearance brings play up to the edge of the 22.

    Ireland 10-10 Italy

It's a tricky one for Andy Farrell. Sam Prendergast has not has his best game by a long way, but what would hauling him off do for his confidence?

Jack Crowley is on the bench, and you would imagine he'll be called upon sooner rather than later.

Cormac Izuchukwu does well to steal the line out and Ireland can clear.

    That's a big intervention.

Prendergast been poor again. No control of the game, poor kicks and very weak in defence. To think there was talk of him possibly going on tour with the Lions last summer. Crowley should come on in the second half and keep the jersey for the rest of the tournament.

Italy win the penalty advantage from a scrum on halfway and play is brought back. Garbisi brings Italy to about 10 metres out with a nice kick.

Pretty simple pick-and-go rugby but it's effective. Really good start to this second half.

However, that's another poor miss from Sam Prendergast.

Big decision from Ireland to go for the try and they get the five points.

    Jack Conan

That's what the doctor ordered for Ireland!

Sheehan and Loughman were stopped by the Italian defence, but Jack Conan powers over to bring Ireland level.

But, Sam Prendergast's miserable afternoon continues and he sticks his conversion wide.

    That's two big misses now.
